Women’s History Month
Before U.S. women could own their own businesses or enter management positions, they first had to be able to legally own property. Before they could do that, however, laws had to be changed so that women weren’t themselves legal property. Join us and hear from Kim Nielsen, Women’s Studies professor from UW-Green Bay in a historical discussion of women’s professional and business advancements, and their relationship to changing U.S. property laws. Also learn more about U.S. women’s move into business and the professions while learning about several interesting and innovative women.
