Awards Committee:
To recognize and support excellence in the accomplishments
of women by presenting awards and scholarships. To promote
community awareness of the Management Women, Inc. professional
organization. Committee members meet once in the fall, and then twice in the spring. Review of scholarship applications requires a fair time commitment in the month of March.

Bylaws Committee:
The duties of this chairperson are to ensure the bylaws are current, functional and being adhered to. The chair often serves as the only member of the committee. However, as necessary, a committee of two to five members may be formed for short periods of time if the bylaws are undergoing a major review. If you are interested in assisting with a future bylaws review, watch your newsletter for these opportunities.

Meeting Accommodations Committee:
To make arrangements for membership meetings and luncheons,
collect guest fees and coordinate the hostesses each
month.

Membership Committee:
To promote, expand, stabilize and orient the membership.
Includes accepting applications, determining eligibility
for membership and making recommendations to the Board
of Directors for approval.
Welcome Committee:
To educate new members through orientation on the various committee opportunities and inform them how they can become involved in the Management Women’s Organization. To host the welcome tables designed to introduce new members and guests to current Management Women members and help them become comfortable within the organization.

Newsletter Committee:
To serve as a vehicle for sharing professional information
about Management Women, Inc. members and the organization
itself through the publication of a monthly newsletter.

Program Committee:
To provide programs which promote the self-growth and
professional development of professional and mid-to-upper
level management women through the exchange of experience
and ideas. This committee meets approximately three times per year, early in the Management Women year to discuss coming Speakers and Topics. Then it will evaluate and select the Speakers for the coming year to offer diversity of topics, both professional and personal. Once the Speakers are selected, the Program Committee responsibilities are primarily completed. A Committee Member each month will introduce the Speaker to the Membership at each month's luncheon.

Public Relations Committee:
To promote the purpose of the organization. To enhance
the community image of women in management and to offer
encouragement, support and guidance to females within
and outside the organization. This committee meets on an as needed basis (1 time or less per year). Meetings are requested of the committee via email and take place at a centralized location.

Seminar Committee:
To plan and execute a seminar to encourage and foster
the awareness of current issues of interest to professional
women. Proceeds and profits will be used to benefit
our community through scholarships.

Strategic Planning Committee:
To evaluate the direction of the organization to ensure
that membership needs are met and that the bylaws are
followed.
