Strategic Planning Update
The Management Women, Inc. Strategic Planning Committee is in the process of developing a long-range strategic plan for the organization. At a meeting on January 15, 2010, the committee met with Management Women Board members to share the developing plan and to obtain their votes on what was believed to be the most important items in the various topics related to the plan. Facilitating the group in development of the Plan is Michael Troyer of Strategic Management Associates. The plan was developed and approved by the Board and presented to members at the April 21 meeting.
    
Volunteers Needed!
Looking for a way to get more involved with Management Women? We have the perfect solution! We are currently looking for member volunteers to fill in as Greeters at some of our membership luncheons this coming year. As a Greeter, you will direct members and guests, introduce attendees to others, and generally make everyone feel welcome and included. In addition, this is a great way to get to know others in our organization.
We are currently looking for Greeters and Hostesses for the following membership luncheons:

Golf Outing Recap
The 2009 golf outing was another success. We had a record 12 foursomes or 48 golfers. Despite rain in the morning, the weather held just long enough for our golfers to get most, and in some cases all, of their 9-holes in. Once the rain came, we moved indoors for more networking and hors d' ovres. Thanks to all who donated door prizes - Jeanne Stangel, JoAnn Rogers, Vickie Linssen, and Karen Monfre. Thanks also to Stephanie Wachholz for her treasuring assistance. Save the date August 19, 2010 (third Thursday in August) for next year! |
