Kate Akerboom attends University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and will graduate in May of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and History. Outside of classes, Kate’s biggest commitment is performing in UW-Green Bay Theatre productions, her most recent credits including Theophilus North and The Collegiate Sisterhood of Lake Pawtuckaway. Kate also spends her time working at Heritage Hill State Historical Park, where her passion for history and theatre can come together to teach local children and adults about the history of Northeast Wisconsin. Kate also works as a student assistant for the Alumni Association at UW-Green Bay, which she thoroughly enjoys for the many things she gets to experience every day. In her free time, Kate enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her family and pets.

Kate’s future plans include continuing on to pursue a master’s degree in Public History so she can bring history to life at major museums around the country. She plans to keep performing as well.
